JOURNEY TO IMPACT: Generative AI on the Edge

In March and October 2024, the EDGE AI FOUNDATION organized two of the most successful community events in its history. They were the cornerstones marking the transition from tiny machine learning (known as tiny ML) to Generative AI at the Edge.

Since then, new studies, evidence, innovations have appeared. New use cases and a better understanding of them have begun to be envisaged. The EDGE AI FOUNDATION community expresses a strong interest to stay up-to-date and educate each other on the latest progress from industry and academia to develop a shared future for generative AI on the edge.

This two-day “third edition” livestream forum will help to gain more understanding about the impact of generative AI on edge platforms and to witness the transformative impacts of generative AI on the edge pushing hardware, software, tooling, applications, services at the next level with the impact of new efforts with agentic AI and physical AI.

SUBMIT YOUR PROPOSAL FOR A LIVESTREAM PRESENTATION HERE

Topics for this forum include:

  • Approaches deployed on real edge HW
  • Exemplary use cases
  • Solutions and possibilities for real edge problems
  • Agentic or Physical systems at the edge
  • The needs and reasons to go beyond fixed AI

Presentation proposed via the CFP are encouraged to elaborate along some of the following lines:

  • Problem statement or Contribution proposed
  • Session Format selection 25 min presentation + 5min interactive Q&A
  • Industry or University contribution
  • Relevance about generative AI on the edge or Agentic or Physical AI and applicability to HW, SW, applications, services, tools, foundational models, optimizations, training
  • The expected-term impact and exploitation to the industry
  • Technical approach and its novelty, supported by analysis including deployability studies on tiny or non tiny
  • Results, including advancements being brought and their significance to the edge AI community
  • Call to Action for the edge AI community
